DISCLAIMER: SMPEarth Utopia is currently a Beta server, meaning SMPEarth Staff may tweak and change the gameplay and rules to create a better player experience. Any changes made to the rules will be announced on our Discord server.
U1: PvP Bypassing
PvP is off by default on the server; you will need to turn on your PvP before engaging in combat - enabling PvP means acknowledging that you can die and lose your items to other players. Bypassing the PvP restriction is not allowed. PvP is to be fair and agreed upon by all parties.
U2: Claimblocking
Claimblocking is not allowed and will be reverted. Claimblocking is defined as maliciously restricting players' ability to expand their area of claims and is determined by the date of claim.
U3: Griefing/Stealing in Claims
Respect other players’ claims and belongings. Griefing and stealing of any type in a claim is prohibited and will be reverted depending on the situation. Moderators are not responsible for any damage to your property, including loss of mobs and items in an unclaimed area. U4: Wilderness/Travel Griefing
Major griefing in the wilderness/unclaimed area (lava casts, large craters, removing large areas from the map, etc.) is not allowed. Prohibiting travel, namely boats, rail systems, etc., is also prohibited. 1
U5: Trapping
Trapping of any kind is prohibited and is a bannable offence. This includes spawn killing and TP-trapping. Trapping is defined as restraining the player’s movement and/or ability to fight back. Having someone teleport to you and instantly killing them is also not allowed, this is called luring.
U6: Scamming
Scamming other players is a serious offence. As a precaution, we advise you to keep track or collect a record (this can be in the form of a written agreement, screenshots, or video recording) for any trade or transactions you are doing. Please note, however, that you trade with players at your own risk – Moderators do not take liability for it and are not responsible for returning anything lost. In addition, any agreement that has been made with a permanently banned player is null/void.
1 Any bridge over any body of water must have at least 2 blocks of air between the water and the bottom of the bridge.
